Earthquake in Indonesia

On January 15, 2021 the 6.2 magnitude earthquake according to the Richter scale with the epicenter in Majene struck West Sulawesi province of Indonesia. The disaster with destructive consequences led to complete demolishing of 10 apartment buildings and damaged about 100 houses and shops.

The Government of Azerbaijan donated 50 000 USD to the Indonesian Red Cross Society with the purpose to support Indonesia to overcome the devastating consequences of the earthquake.
